The immunity booster powder, consists of dry fruit, poppy seeds, black pepper, dry ginger, and many more. Each ingredient has its own medicinal property to boost your immunity. Dry ginger & jeera helps in good digestion, black pepper helps in removing your cough, poppy seeds help with proper sleep, almonds will boost your brain simulation, dhaniya/coriander seeds & cloves help in developing antioxidants, Elaichi helps in lowering your blood pressure.
Boil the milk along with the powder by adding little sugar.
Note - Fry each ingredient separately, else it will not fry properly.
In a pan, dry fry 1/2 cup of jeera on medium flame. Fry for 5 minutes.
Transfer it to Bowl/Plate.
In a same pan, fry 1.5 tbsp of methi seeds for 5 minutes on medium flame.
Transfer it to same bowl.
Now fry 1/4 cup of pepper on medium flame for 6 minutes. You can adjust the quantity of pepper as per the spiciness required.
Transfer it to same bowl.
Fry 1/2 cup of Badam on medium flame for 5 minutes.
Transfer it to same bowl.
Now fry 2 tbsp of cloves and 1/4 cup of cardamom pods on medium flame for 5 minutes.
Transfer this into same bowl.
Fry 2/3 cup of coriander seeds for 6 minutes on medium flame.
Transfer it to same bowl.
In a small pan, Fry 1 tbsp of poppy seeds for 3 minutes on medium flame.
Using mortar and pestle, crush the dried ginger, alternatively use a mixer to powder them.
Set it aside.
Transfer it to bowl and keep aside to cool down.
Once the above fried ingredients cools down, add this along with crushed dried ginger to Mixer and grind it to fine powder.
Store this Kashaya powder in air tight container box.
In a pan, add 1 cup of milk along with little sugar and 1 tsp of kashaya powder.
Let it boil for 5-7 mins and filter the kashaya to glass.
